1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to RupyPay. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RupyPay's website, mobile applications, digital platforms and related financial and business services.
By accessing, registering for, or using any RupyPay service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use RupyPay services.
2. About RupyPay
RupyPay is a digital financial services platform operated by V3 PAY GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED.
RupyPay provides technology and service infrastructure that enables eligible retail partners and customers to access various digital financial, payment, recharge, bill payment, travel and related services.
Certain services may be provided through regulated banks, financial institutions, payment service providers, bill payment networks, travel service providers and other authorized third-party partners.
3. Eligibility
To use RupyPay services, you must meet the eligibility requirements applicable to the particular service.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement under applicable law.
- You must comply with applicable laws, regulations and service-specific requirements.
- Retail partners must complete applicable onboarding and verification requirements.
4. RupyPay Services
Depending on eligibility, availability and applicable approvals, RupyPay may provide or facilitate access to services including:
- Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) services.
- Cash withdrawal and balance enquiry services.
- Mini statement and related banking services.
- Domestic money transfer services.
- UPI-related cash withdrawal services.
- Mobile and DTH recharge services.
- Electricity, water, gas and other bill payment services.
- Insurance premium payment services.
- Travel and ticket booking services, including eligible railway booking services.
- Other digital financial or utility services introduced from time to time.
Availability of individual services may vary based on location, partner availability, regulatory requirements, technical conditions and other applicable factors.
5. Account & Registration
Certain RupyPay services require you to create an account or register as a retailer, distributor, master distributor or other authorized partner.
Account Information
- You are responsible for providing accurate information.
- You must keep your account information current.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must immediately notify RupyPay if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You must not share your account credentials, passwords, PINs, OTPs or other authentication information with unauthorized persons.
6. KYC & Verification
Certain RupyPay services require customer or partner verification in accordance with applicable Know Your Customer (KYC), anti-money laundering and other regulatory requirements.
You may be required to provide documents or information such as identity documents, address information, PAN details, business information or other verification information.
RupyPay may suspend or restrict access to services where required information cannot be verified or where required by applicable law or regulatory requirements.
7. Transactions & Payments
Users and partners are responsible for checking transaction details before confirming a transaction.
- Transaction instructions must be accurate.
- Once a transaction has been successfully processed, cancellation or reversal may be subject to the rules of the relevant service provider or financial institution.
- Transaction processing may be delayed due to banking systems, payment networks, technical issues, maintenance or circumstances outside RupyPay's reasonable control.
- Refunds, reversals and dispute resolution may be subject to the applicable service provider's policies.
Always verify the beneficiary details, amount and service information before confirming a transaction.
8. Partner Responsibilities
RupyPay partners, retailers, distributors and other authorized representatives are expected to operate responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and RupyPay policies.
- Maintain accurate customer and transaction records where required.
- Follow applicable KYC and verification procedures.
- Protect customer information.
- Never request or disclose customer PINs, OTPs or confidential authentication credentials improperly.
- Do not perform transactions for unlawful, fraudulent or suspicious purposes.
- Follow applicable RupyPay service guidelines.
9. Fees & Commissions
Certain RupyPay services may involve service charges, transaction fees, commissions or other applicable charges.
Applicable fees and commissions may vary depending on the service, partner category, transaction type, applicable taxes and current commercial policies.
RupyPay may modify applicable charges, commission structures or commercial terms from time to time in accordance with applicable agreements and policies.
10. Prohibited Activities
You must not use RupyPay services for any unlawful, fraudulent or unauthorized purpose.
- Fraudulent or deceptive transactions.
- Money laundering or terrorist financing.
- Unauthorized access to another person's account.
- Misuse of customer identity or financial information.
- Circumventing security or authentication systems.
- Providing false or misleading information.
- Using RupyPay services in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
11. Security
RupyPay takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect its systems and user information.
However, no electronic transmission or digital system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users must take appropriate precautions, including protecting their passwords, OTPs, PINs, devices and account information.
12. Limitation of Liability
RupyPay will take reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and reliability of its services.
However, RupyPay shall not be responsible for interruptions, delays, failures or losses arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including banking network failures, internet connectivity problems, telecommunications failures, system maintenance, force majeure events or third-party service interruptions.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
13. Suspension & Termination
RupyPay may suspend, restrict or terminate access to an account or service where reasonably necessary, including where:
- These Terms are violated.
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity is identified.
- Required KYC or verification is incomplete.
- Access is required to be restricted by law, regulation or an authorized authority.
- Security or operational risks are identified.
Where appropriate, users may contact RupyPay support regarding account restrictions or transaction disputes.
14. Changes to These Terms
RupyPay may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in services, technology, applicable law, regulatory requirements or business practices.
Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of RupyPay services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in India, subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts and authorities.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available to users under mandatory applicable laws or regulations.
